Zhang Hai, born in October 1980, is from Guye District, Tangshan City, Hebei Province. A new teacher at the History College of Hebei University. The main research direction is the history of the pre-Qin and the Shang and Zhou archaeology.

From 2001 to 2005, he graduated from the History and Culture College of Hebei Normal University with a bachelor's degree in history.

From 2005 to 2008, he obtained a master's degree in history from the History and Culture College of Hebei Normal University. The direction is the history of the pre-Qin, and he studied under Professor Shen Changyun.

From 2012 to 2017, he received a doctorate in history from the Department of History of Peking University. The direction is the history of the pre-Qin Dynasty, the Shang and Zhou Archaeology, and Professor Zhu Fengqi.
