The Institute for Studies of North China or the Institute of Huabeiology was founded in 2012. Hebei University is one of the earliest colleges or universities that proposed the concept of Huabeiology and conducted a systematic study . The Institute has carried out characteristic researches in specialized fields such as the Origin of Civilization in North China, North China and the Chinese Culture, the Developing of the Country in North China, the Economic and Social Problems in North China. Integrating all resources inside or outside Hebei University, the Institute is producing a series of works in order to consolidate its leading status on this research field. In the future, we hope that the Institute can promote into an advanced institute and become an important research base in humanities and social sciences granted by the Chinese Ministry of Education.
