The Institute of Yan`s Culture was founded in 2016. It has 5 professors, 12 associate professors and 1 lecturer. The Institute studies on subjects such as the capital and other cities of Yan, the unearthed documents and relics of Yan, the ruins and tombs of Yan, the long wall and defenses of Yan, the history and culture of Yan, the historical geography of Yan, and the bronze culture of Hebei region. Yan is an ancient region which included now Beijing, Tianjin, and the northern part of Hebei province. Studying on Yan, the Institute serves Heibei province and contributes to the construction of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei integration.
